Place packed open till close everyday for a very good reason. Mexican Families shopping for Groceries, Meats and Great prepared food for dining inside or takeout. We went to La Sultana and La Bamba just a few blocks away on Fort, they both selling tacos for 3 bucks each on Taco Tuesday. Hell no we've got 2 dozen Mexican places selling Tacos $2 and under on Taco Tuesday. Here only $1.50 all types of Meats for the win . I had 3 Campachana Tacos and a $3 Chicken and Cheese Quesadilla OMG . You get Salsa's and Hot Tortilla Chips when for Free. She had a marvelous Chicken Fajitas with Rice Beans and Tortillas Wowed . I picked a fresh mega piece of Chicharron outta the hot box. Fantastic service and low Prices a top shopping n dining destination Downriver. Corner of Fort n Southfield parking lot in rear or street parking on Fort. Happy they opening a 2nd restaurant on King Rd in the old Si Senor location in a month. #supermercadosinlimite @stqsinlimite #tacotuesday #chickenfajitas #chicharron #lowprices #quesadillas #tacos #downriverfriendseat @elzaraperiverview

Tacos Tuesday AAA++++, the best tacos in Lincoln Park. Need to shop for other ingredients you can kill two birds with one stone. Is a supermarket and they sell some great tacos/Mexican food.

Beware their chilaquiles are SPICY. Very delicious but spicy lol I was sweating while I was eating them it was that goood. My bf had the green chilaquiles and they were equally as spicy I got the red ones .

Delicious taqueria style tacos! It is what you might call a "hole in the wall" type of place, but the staff and food here are awesome. I highly recommend the al pastor, beef, and birria tacos. These are real deal, legit, Mexican style tacos. Wash it down with a Mexican Coke or Jarritos to complete the experience. You can get very full here for not a ton of money (Taco Tuesdays = $1 Tacos), and there are also a ton of good snacks and drinks to choose from in the store. Get there, ASAP

Me and my coworkers came here for a lunch. It's a traditional taqueria nestled into a Mexican market, definitely authentic. It's a pretty small restaurant. We got the chips and salsa to start, the chips were decent and the salsa was pretty spicy. I got the beef steak burrito and a taco while my coworkers got a few different tacos. To be honest I thought the beef steak burrito was fantastic and some of the best I've ever had. It was soft and at times crunchy which is really important to me for burritos to get that mix of texture. Furthermore the inside were well mixed and not weirdly segregated. However, my coworkers got tacos and they found that the meat was off and tasted weird. I didn't have the problems with the one taco I did get but jut be warned. The wait times were a bit long and you could tell that the 1 waitress was overtaxed.

One of the things I loved growing up in the Bay Area (Cali) was the ability to throw a dart at the map, head out to the dart tagged location and almost be guaranteed to find some hole in the wall taqueria, quite often stuck inside a Mexican market. While it may not be quite as abundant out here in the Detroit metro area, we've noticed in the last few years a number of places popping up, just like my old home. If you find yourself in Lincoln Park on fort street, check this place out. It's a gem. Inside the market they have a kitchen with a counter and a couple of tables. The guy I usually see behind the counter doesn't talk and probably doesn't speak English but it's okay, the girls do. They serve traditional taco stand food - burritos, tacos, tortas, fajitas and a few items you might not normally find, like milanesa style meat. I've only had two things from here, but they're both fantastic - the tortas and the burritos. The Al Pastor meat is truly Al Pastor - spicy, but without burning your mouth. I love that they put guacamole in the Burrito. The tortas here are great too. I recommend people try them, because authentic tortas aren't quite like sandwiches from the states. They use a special bun and you can get them with guacamole and other items not on other sandwiches (these aren't deli style sandwiches, they come with the same kind of meats you get in burritos and tacos). There are a number of other taquerias here and they're all pretty good, but you can't miss with this place. Good food and the prices are reasonable. Get yourself a Jarrito on the way out!

My wife works just down the street from the Supermercado & wanted to check it out for dinner one night. We got a dinner to go on their $1 taco Tuesday & it was great! The Chorizo & al pastor is on their $1 menu & they were excellent! Full of flavor, street style with lime, cilantro & onion. The tripe & tongue good but it wasn't on the $1 menu. Worth a try if you like tongue & tripe. We also got a Jamaica drink & it was very tasty as well. Definitely a good place to check out. They have inside seating to eat in. They also have a bakery section that we'll have to get something another time. If you're looking for real Mexican tacos, this is the place. Check it out & support our local community.

Yes sir!! Any restaurant where you walk in and the guy making your food doesn't speak a lick of English means you're getting that real stuff. As authentic as if you were walking the streets of Mexico and walking into a taqueria itself. Yes, all taco joints are not created equal. The rules are simple, you pick the size of the tortilla and you let them know which meat you want in it. "Con Todo" means all, which means onions and cilantro. Meat choices, there's beef and chicken for the "MuRICAN" taste buds. Then there's the al pastor, lengua, birria, etc. That's for me and whomever foodies with real taste buds. Pair any of these up with roasted jalapeños and onions,,, you are on your way to cloud 9 my friend. During the weekends they have the Menudo special, which I couldn't wait to try out. It's great, it's delicious and it's real man food. Known to many REAL Mexicans as a true hang over food. The cook/chef must've inherited his skills from a god cause it's that good. If you're a not too adventurous about what you eat, we'll honey, there's a diner/coney island down the street. I'm sure you can get you chicken fingers and fried potato sticks there. I bet you they'll hook it up with ranch dressing too. Anyways, this place is the truth!! These are the real authentic Mexican joints who serve authentic Mexican food for authentic Mexican people. Weeeeeee!
